8th Grade End-of-Year Events

8th Grade Formal Dance

Monroe’s 8th Grade Formal Dance will be Friday, May 12, 2023. Tickets will go on sale for $5 toward the end of April.

To be eligible to attend the dance, students must:

• Have less than 10 tardies between March 21 and May 11

• Have no suspensions after March 21

8th Grade Promotion Ceremony

Monroe will hold its 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. The ceremony will be held in the auditorium during school, and families are welcome and encouraged to attend to celebrate your scholar’s promotion to high school.
